Short Breaks

Trinite Homes provides Independent Supported Accommodation that provides Emergency Crisis Support and Structured Activities, including tailored therapeutic short break packages for children and young persons.

We provide respite care packages to children and families, foster parents, and Significant Others. We provide the environment where their talents and unique interest can be nurtured in an activity-based and child-conscious environment.

Our short break packages for young people will

  • Provide the additional support and time required to secure appropriate or alternative placements when the needs of a child can no longer be fulfilled at their present placement or environment
  • Provide alternative accommodation and support where existing placement has broken down and raising concerns about the child’s immediate safety and welfare become a problem.

As part of our engagement and activities, Bethel Court offers, both structured outdoor and indoor Adventure Activities for Children placed with us where alongside other mainstream children they are able to explore the outdoors. We recognise that children referred to us by the Local Authority or Placement Teams may have gone through some Adverse Childhood Experience (ACEs), with some at Risk of Exploitation, we, therefore, need to assess the risk profile of the child, using our initial Baseline Risk Assessment Matrix.

The overarching aim of our short break packages is to provide children with stability and security, help them develop resilience and the ability to form good and lasting relationships and, most importantly, encourage and support them to realise their
potentials.

We partner with various great organisations to ensure we continue to provide the best possible care and support to the children in our care.
